If your staying a little longer than a couple of nights, and you love gardening, you are most welcome to dabble in the gardens. Join in and feel at home.
Do a spot of painting and capture the lovely flowers, plants and birds, as well as the really warm colour on the acacia trees that are highlighted at sunset
Or simply relax by the pool with a good book or magazine. We have an extensive library and you are most welcome to borrow books and magazines during your stay.
Lake Naivasha is privileged by its unique location and benefits from rich and diverse flora and fauna. Hippos wallow in the shallows, waterbuck, eland and buffalo graze on the shoreline that is home to over 400 species of birds.The internationally protected site is in close proximity to other interesting places to visit. Hell's Gate National Park, Crater Lake, Crescent Island and Lake Nakuru National Park, famous for it's pink flamingos, are all possible day trips
You can walk down to the lake or further afield to our neighbours where you can enjoy:
- Boat rides to see the hippos and the birds
- Walking amongst the animals on Crescent Island
- For the more adventurous you can hire bicycles and tour Hell’s Gate Game Reserve.
- You can also have a go at hiking the cliffs and going into the gorge in Hell's Gate
- Take a tour around the lake, there are loads of lovely places to stop along the way
- Lake Nakuru National Park, famous for its pink flamingos, is only an hour away
- If you love to play golf, there’s a course not so far away
